ABOUT THE ARTS BOOSTERS

Working to support ALL of Moore Square's amazing fine arts programs!

The Moore Square Arts Boosters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN 83-1539239), created to support the vibrant fine arts programs at Moore Square Magnet Middle School.

When Moore Square transitioned to a Gifted & Talented/AIG Basics school, it was supported by a special grant. After that grant expired in 2017, the Arts Boosters were formed to help fund the many resources a strong fine arts curriculum requires.

While Moore Square also has an excellent and active PTSA—which we encourage you to support—the PTSA and Arts Boosters serve different purposes:

The PTSA supports general school needs.
The Arts Boosters raise funds specifically for arts-related expenses, such as:
- Sheet music & instruments
- Dance costumes & props
- Theater sets, lighting, & wireless mics
- Art supplies like drawing paper & pottery glaze
- Licensing fees for performances and competitions and more!
